About Me
My name’s Shadi. I’m a Melbourne-based headshot and branding photographer.
I love meeting new people, but small talk makes me very uncomfortable, so I might share something embarrassing about myself. I’m a big believer in elevating small talk to medium talk.
I believe great things can happen when you get out of your comfort zone, especially when it’s in a supportive environment. It took me over a year to muster up the confidence to join a mixed soccer comp, but it is a good thing I did because I met my husband there (also, the odds were with me being one of the few chicks out of 40 guys).
I think the most attractive people are those who ooze confidence and contentment. I’m not saying I’m one of these people because, like many, I can be the most critical about how I look. But a smidge of ‘fake it till you make it’ and owning it will make you look amazing in your photographs (and of course, flattering light and angles help a lot—so I’ve got you!).
