About Me
My name’s Shadi. I’m a Melbourne-based headshot photographer.
I love meeting new people, but I’m a big believer in elevating small talk to medium talk.
I believe great things can happen when you get out of your comfort zone, especially when it’s in a supportive environment. It took me over a year to muster the confidence to join a mixed soccer competition, but it was a good thing I did, because I met my husband there (also, the odds were in my favour, being one of the few women out of 40 men).
I think the most attractive people are those who ooze confidence and contentment. I’m not saying I’m one of these people because, like many, I can be the most critical about how I look. But a smidge of ‘fake it till you make it’ and owning it will make you look amazing in your photographs (and, of course, flattering light and angles help a lot—so I’ve got you covered!).
